Theory of Fate

"Fate is defined by the number of people we know of."

Thats what I thought when I saw all the couples around me at the Cinema, huggling and snuggling up to each other. From the looks of it, they probably didn't get to know each other at pubs and such. More likely to be some classmates-then-upgrade-to-boygirlfriend kind. Or maybe friends' friend, like friendster.

If its the latter, if you know only 6 people, and assuming those people u know knows only another 6 people, that would be a 6 x 6 = 36 people for your 'friends' friend' circle, or 'second-degree-friends' like friendster defines it. If you know more people, then the chances of you getting to know a girl of your dreams would be higher and the choice of dream girls would be more also, right?

Another thing is... I don't know how to put it, but listen to this story k...

Guy A is in this tiny village of 50 people that has only 1 dream girl which everyone wants. And he probably won't be loved by this dream girl. He goes to the urbanised village, gets to know like 100 people out of the 500. Assuming ratio of dream girl is 1 every out of 50 people around, u'd have a chance of at least 2 dream girls for 100 people he knows. Clubbing is a good way to know girls, but not everyone chio goes clubbing... I'd say the thing is actually 'having fun times' with the person u want to know. Just maybe watching movie, kboxing, picnics... its all fun... subjected to personal likings of course...

We should all socialise more, for the sake of knowing more people... for the sake of knowing someone u want to be with :P

...

I wanna live the way I lived before, but I'd hate it and love it at the same time...........

I agree. People are so misled by the increase of people they come into contact with that they cannot stay loyal to one partner. However, that's also because the one partner is not interesting enough to keep the person with him/her, so yeah, perhaps there's someone out there that's really right for us but we haven't found him/her yet. :(
